Summary
To live a morally clean life is great, and pleasing in God's eyes, but unfortunately it is not enough if you want to have eternal life with Jesus Christ in Heaven.
The Crux of the Matter
Salvation is not something that can be earned through what we consider to be a "good" lifestyle. It is a gift from God, but you must be willing to accept Him and His commandments. The Bible says there is none righteous, no... not one (Romans 3:10). So, unless you repent, rid yourself of that sin, believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and confess with your mouth that He is your Savior, you will not have salvation. Everything said, you are definitely on the right track, but you must take that final step!
